2010

A twinkle in our eye

Dave wanted a workshop for his joinery business. He found a run-down old dump and saw what no one else could.

The cleanup begins!

2011

More than a lick of paint

Alongside us, our family, friends and the local community undertook a two year renovation of the building.

We open our doors!

When we first opened Hagglers Corner to the public it was little more than a shell. The first tenants started moving in, some of whom are still with us!

2012

The Light Room Yoga Studio opens

A beautiful home to 12+ yoga teachers. We ran classes for all abilities from a range of yoga disciplines for nearly 10 years.

2013

A new café!

Hagglers Kaffihus (Icelandic for coffee house) was born. During this time Sarah and Dave had their first child, a beautiful daughter.

The Attikk Bar Opens

The Attikk bar officially opened.
September
2014

Bar Takk Opens

Dave's carpentry workshop was transformed into Bar Takk and we began the journey of regular weekend DJ nights. Meanwhile our second child was on the way!
2018

Our 100th Wedding!

This year marked our 100th wedding held at Hagglers Corner, and it's the year we got married too!

We got to work during lockdown... And our magical terrace was born!

We proudly support many local charities. Total fundraising close to £5k in the last 6 months: Sharrow Festival, Sheffield Young Carers and Hurricane relief
