Our Story

Dave wanted a workshop for his joinery business. He found a run-down old dump and saw what no one else could.

The view of the Cafe and the yoga studio above it in 2010. We had a LOT to do, so we got stuck in...

Alongside us, our family, friends and the local community undertook a two year renovation of the building.

When we first opened Hagglers Corner to the public it was little more than a shell. The first tenants started moving in, some of whom are still with us!

A beautiful home to 12+ yoga teachers. We ran classes for all abilities from a range of yoga disciplines for nearly 10 years.

Hagglers Kaffihus (Icelandic for coffee house) was born. During this time Sarah and Dave had their first child, a beautiful daughter.

The Attikk bar officially opened.

Dave's carpentry workshop was transformed into Bar Takk and we began the journey of regular weekend DJ nights. Meanwhile our second child was on the way!

This year marked our 100th wedding held at Hagglers Corner, and it's the year we got married too!

We got to work during lockdown... And our magical terrace was born!

We loved having The Bhaji Shop here as part of our team! We miss them and their delicious bhajis!

We proudly celebrated 10 years of LOVE, MUSIC & COMMUNITY

Hagglers is voted 'Best Foodhall/Courtyard Space' in the 2023 Exposed Awards.

We proudly support many local charities. Total fundraising close to £5k in the last 6 months: Sharrow Festival, Sheffield Young Carers and Hurricane relief

We continue to be a big part of Sheffield's Independent Music scene, our venue is place for connection & a proud home of creative, independent businesses.
